I have always wanted to work for a call centre. After college, I did not know of any call centre, and so I had to register with a job centre in order to improve my chances of getting a job in that center. I went straight to tamworth telesales jobs section in Tamworth's web site and registered. In the specifications section, I indicated that I wanted to work exclusively for a call centre. The first call centre that contacted me was yet to start operating, so I agreed that whenever they were ready, I was going to join their team. The second one that contacted me was already two years old in operation. I took the job immediately. I was taken for training first, and then I was deployed to my work station as a telesales representative. Working there was really fun just as I had expected. Promotions were awarded according to one's efforts at work, and by the end of the second year, I had been promoted twice. I am still working in the same centre, now as a sales manager.
