For most secretaries, using word document is a common day to day activity in the office. This is because they have to create files and compile them as a report by the end of the day. I was able to find out why this is so when I attended secretariat classes. I did not know that there are so many things a secretary does aside from welcoming visitors to the bossss office, and when I found out this, I sort to work as a secretary in form of an act in my fatherrs company. When using my computer, I realized that my word document cannot open. When asking why is my word document locked and i wanted to practice writing and compiling a report, the acting secretary told me that she had placed a password on that computer so that nobody could interfere with her work when she was not around. Sometimes it is good to place a lock password if you do not want to keep on loosing important data that took you ages to complete, this is one important lesson I got to learn about secretariat work. |

Young people yearn for independence all the time. They dream of that day that they will finally have their own place, make their own money, buy whatever it that they want and also make their own rules. The reason why they feel like this is because parents can be really possessive and less understanding to the emotional needs of their teenagers and that makes them want to get out under the roof of their parents. They dream of the days that they will be able to go to any party they got invited to and wanted to go to and not have to worry about curfew. When they grow older, most of them fulfill their wishes and they work really hard to take care of themselves. They start small, they live in tiny apartments and then when they have sieved enough they in turn move to a better place. This is also where they get to know how to setup router of the wireless internet connection of their choice.They could choose a high speed or a low speed band, it all depends on their internet needs. |

Computers are devices which can’t operate without hard disk. It’s the most important component of a computer because it’s used to store all programs and files. It uses tapes both audio and video for memory storage. In hard disk happens to have problems or damaged, all files and everything saved in computer gets lost and there is no way a person can recover. That’s why people with computers at home are advised to protect from virus or connecting them with devices which can easily infect them. It’s dangerous because the whole system can easily break down. The user of a computer was asking how do i fdisk my hard drive. One should take a compact disk which has items and documents and insert it in a port of a computer for cds. Here it can copy everything and items will be stored in a computer. To avoid losing items one should scan it from virus and keep it clean all the time. Computers are very important with us and that’s why they should be cared well. |

I have five friends and they know me better than my family knows me. They are my other family. There is the one who makes friends really easily and very hardworking, worked her way up from being a waitress in a coffee house to a manager. Then there is the actor who is practically a female magnet. There is the geek, who is a lecturer of history. Then there is the accountant and the funniest one of us all. There is the vegetarian who ate a lot of meat when she was a surrogate mother. We had to stop eating meat for nine months because she did not want many animals to die with all of us eating meat. Then there is the sister to the geek, the control freak. She had to make sure that everything was how she wanted them to be and she had to win every game. There is this one time she was making a budget of her restaurant and she asked how do i split a cell in excel in half because she wanted to have a certain pattern. We told her that she could merge them, that would help and she was adamant at first but later on she decided to do it. |

I have been an editor for quite some while and for all the time i have been in this field i have enjoyed a variety of advantages that it offers. With editing i have learnt to change still photos to motion and the motion to still. I have also learnt how to burn edited materials in the cd and sell my editions to make good profits. I am now sure that i can do quality work because i have made a name out there such that all the past viewers have been wanting more of my editions. In this field of editing, i have had to waste a lot of cds on burning or copying of the materials edited but i have never learnt how to erase a cd that already has some contents in it. But then when i read from my tutorial manual of editing, i am told that it is needles to erase an edited cd because once it has been used, it cannot be reused even if the content is erased. |

Most of the times when we want to do any connections in the house or at the office we always seek the assistance of a technician so that they can do that for us. This incurs us the costs of paying the technician so that they can fix the cables and the wires. Little do we know that what they do we can always do it by ourself without having to call one. It is not something complicated as one would think. With the help of a manual or reading from the internet then you can follow the steps one by one and you find yourself doing it. I tried using a manual that i was given after buying a broadband modem. I read each step on how to connect modem to computer. I followed each step very keenly and within no time then i had connected my computer to the modem. Each cable was in its own port and once i was through with connections , i configured the settings. It was so simple and not hard as many anticipate it to be. Try it and you will see the results. |

Many people who own large companies that they need to have a computer system that agrees with the functions that the company needs to carry out. There is always a new introduction of a computer system or program that is better than the original version. The thing that they do not know is that the newer version is not necessarily improved, and that is why if you have a company in newcastle they go to the it consultancy newcastle firms. These firms are able to give them sound advice when it comes to the upgrading of their computer systems. They are advised not to go for anything complex, because these are the ones that bring a lot of problems because of their complex nature. They are advised to go for those servers and system that will be easier to adjust to. It is also found that such servers and systems are good because the security they offer is good. This is so because due to the simplicity that it offers, they are able to ensure security because they understand the system very well and thus will do the necessary to make sure that it is secure. |

People use their computers to carry out a lot of actions. There are those who use for business purposes. They make spread sheets, compile reports and even create proposals in their computers. Then there are those who are web designers and web developers. They use their computers to look for ways of developing websites and manage them even better and improve websites. Then there are those who use them for educational purposes. You will find a lot of ebooks and projects and research papers saved in there. Then there are those who use their computers for entertainment purposes, you will find a lot of movies and music in their computers. All these people have one thing in common. They experience computer problems freezing all the time. This may be due to having a hard disk that is full, thus slowing down the computers and constant cases of the computer freezing. It might also be due to the fact that they have installed a lot of programs in the computer that are running at the same time. |

Laura had almost done everything with all her might to find and get a decent job. But to no avail, there was none for her except hired as waitress in a bar or a janitorial aid in a hospital. She couldn&rsquot even imagine how she would end up there when she graduated from college as a business degree holder. No matter how unfortunate things might be, she would never have qualms or negative feelings about her life. She believed in temporary things it would never stay as that long. Somehow, she might saw the rainbow after the rain came out. If these things would pass her by, then she would expect the good ones coming over. Well, for the time being, Laura just enjoyed her unemployment benefits after 99 weeks, and then after that she had high hoped that she could make it have her dreams turned into reality. In accepting life&rsquos inevitable obstacles, she would rather be inspired and not give up even for a few seconds. She might have been through a lot but she kept things lightly as part of life&rsquos spices. Neither she got carried away with her problems nor lost control of her sanity, she never let them bring her down. Instead, she stood through every fall she made. |
